Our Story

Mikrova is a company specializing in research and development of electronics, software solutions, making of prototypes and small series production. We strive to have an open relationship with our customers that is based on trust and cooperate with various customers from the start of our founding in 2004. In the last years we also work on our own products, from which the first in our offering are charging stations for electric vehicles.

Our development knowhow is concentrated on high-tech product for the following fields:

From concept to end-product

Our development team is a highly skilled for development of high-tech products. We work with our customers from initial idea through concepts and prototypes considering all possible solutions to get to a final product. Depending on customer needs we develop whole products, a functional part of a product or only a conceptual solution for a given problem. After a successful finished product, we offer customer support for serial mass production and through the whole lifecycle of the product.

Competence

Our laboratory is equipped with a wide palette of instruments that are to our disposal at the development and testing phases from Keysight, Agilent, Tektronix, Keithley and Rohde & Schwarz… We mainly use microcontrollers from Microchip/Atmel in combination with various IDE environments like Microchip Studio and CodeVisionAVR. For development of measurement and test application we use the National instruments LabView programing environment. For electronic development we use professional tools like Altium designer and LTSpice and others.

Industrial design

When thinking about industrial design it is not just how to pack components in a housing but to design elegant and functional products that have added value and attractive look. We test our ideas and design on various concepts that are then improved over the course of development. In house 3D printers are used in various stages to speed up the product design.

Care for the environment

We follow the rules for environment friendly product and invest a lot of effort to make the product from as much environment friendly materials as possible, last a long time, be easily serviceable and when the end of product lifetime is reached it can be recycled.
